During the last edition of the Amstel Malta Showtime event, which was hosted in Lagos last week at the Eko Hotel and Suites, the likes of Funke Akindele, Whizkid and Tuface brought down the roof with their performances.
The guests went wild with excitement as comedian I Go Dye ‘cracked’ some ribs with his hilarious jokes.
When Wizkid stepped on the stage to perform, the audience rose, as if in one accord, to dance and sing along to his songs. Hit tracks such as Pakurumo,Dance For Me, Azonto, Love My Baby,Holla at Your Boy, Tease Me and others were rendered by the talented artiste, much to the delight of the crowd.
But Tuface wouldn’t give Whizkid any room to outshine him. The award winning artiste proved he is still one of the best as he made the crowd go wild with a medley of songs, including If Love Is A Crime, No Bi Small Thing, For Instance and True Love.
Wannabe stars also tried their best on the stage and at the end of the show, Righteous Otserioluwa, Kenneth Chinedu and Obinna Michael, won in the singing, comedy and dancing competition respectively.
